GME Alumni Survey | Overview

MBA Alumni Survey This GME graduate survey enables programs to benchmark how graduates perform in their professional life, assess learning outcomes, and demonstrate return on investment.

What is the GME Alumni Study?

The Alumni Study enables graduate management education (GME) to benchmark how graduates perform longitudinally and assess return on investment and learning outcomes via a web-based survey.

MBA and specialized master's programs can compare their results with all other programs participating in the survey to provide valuable competitive intelligence information.

Percept Research manages the survey process and collaboratively develops custom questions that best fit your program. Schools typically conduct the alumni survey every 3-5 years and target multiple classes at once as opposed to every year as is typical of Percept Research’s other GME Lifecycle surveys.

What kind of questions are asked?

The GME alumni questionnaire is brief and includes measures such as:
  1. Evaluation of decision to pursue the degree
  2. Ratings of the value and quality of your MBA program
  3. Movement in personal and professional development outcomes
  4. Evaluation of MBA return on investment
  5. Impact of degree on career
  6. Assessment of strengths and weaknesses of the MBA program as well as how to better serve alumni
  7. Demographic information so that respondents can be classified for analysis

Business schools can also insert custom questions with the template questionnaire -- Percept Research consultants assist programs with developing actionable measures to include in the survey.

How will my data stay confidential?

As an independent management education research firm, Percept Research manages the survey process and provides reporting of the results. We maintain the anonymity of the industry benchmarking and peer comparisons. View our Data Confidentiality and Use policy.
